Position Description: A sales associate is a professional who would be responsible for securing new relations with potential clients, maintaining relations with current ones, as well as offering new products that would benefit clients.Roles & Responsibilities:
• Securing new client relations through the use of cold calls, sales meetings, emails, etc.
• Maintaining current client relations through on site visits, phone support, and email support.
• Updating and maintaining a client list of ongoing and new issues to be resolved by field engineers.
• Informing the field engineers of issues to be resolved either onsite or through remote services.
• Following up with clients after issues have been resolved to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Offer consulation to clients of new products that could benefit productivity for the client.
• If needed, offer assistance to the field engineers where applicable.
• Function independently or under little supervision.
Position requirements:
• Strong communication skills a must with attention to detail.
• Previous sales experience.
• Thorough understanding of PC and network hardware.
• Basic experience of computers and servers.
• Experience in equipment support.
• Baisc knowledge of the latest operating systems, network protocols and standards.
• Ability to read all relevant technical documents.
• Ability to carry out relevant research.
• Ability to perform tasks and prioritize in high-pressure environments.
• Able to build a good understanding of the organization’s objectives.
• Good customer-service orientation.
